Stir That Pot started at my own stove, on the kind of Tuesday every parent knows: a full workday behind me, two hungry kids in front of me, and zero appetite for a sink full of dishes. I wanted dinners that were genuinely one pot - real food on the table fast, and almost nothing to wash up after.
So that's what this is. Every recipe here is one I actually make for my own family: cosy, forgiving, and designed so the cleanup doesn't undo the joy of the meal. No 900-word life stories before the recipe (I promise), no obscure ingredients, no pile of pans.
What "one pot" means to me
It's less about a strict rule and more about a feeling: dinner should nourish your family without stealing your whole evening. If a shortcut makes a recipe easier without hurting the flavour, I'll take it - and tell you exactly why.
Thanks for cooking along with me. Pull up a chair, grab one pot, and let's get dinner on the table.
